POTD 33 of 365

I've had this shot in mind, and the apples for it, for about a week or so now. Today's snow day for The Missus and I made for the perfect opportunity to make it happen.



Lighting is pretty basic - I wanted harsh, but not shockingly-so, so I went with the 580EX II at 1/16 through a grid.

The "lab coat" is just one of my chef's jackets, and the "apple" is an apple. It's got a thin rub of vegetable oil on it, to give it a little shine.
